ONEIDA COUNTY, NY – A months-long investigation into a stolen vehicle has led to the arrest of a Mount Upton woman, according to Oneida County Sheriff Robert M. Maciol.
The case began on November 19, 2024, when deputies from the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Division responded to RJ Auto and Tire Sales, located at 4687 State Route 233 in the Town of Westmoreland, for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The case was soon turned over to the Criminal Investigation Unit for further inquiry.
Through investigative efforts, authorities were able to track down the suspect, 53-year-old Antoinette Milano, in the Town of Guilford, Chenango County. Milano was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree, a Class D felony.
Milano was processed at the Kurt B. Wyman Law Enforcement Building before being escorted to CAP Court, where she was released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in Westmoreland Town Court at a later date.
The investigation was led by Investigator T. Barnes (#309) of the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit.
