Waterloo, NY – Two individuals have been arrested in connection with a grand larceny incident at the Speedway Gas Station on 703 Waterloo Geneva Road in Seneca County, following an investigation by the New York State Police in Waterloo.

On February 16, 2025, at approximately 6:33 p.m., Troopers responded to a report of a fraudulent purchase at the Speedway Gas Station. Store employees reported that two suspects had used a fraudulent debit card to purchase $11,500 in gift cards before fleeing the scene in a white Ford Expedition.
A BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert was issued to surrounding counties. At approximately 10:35 p.m., Troopers spotted a white Ford Expedition matching the suspect vehicle's description on State Route 5 & 20 in Ontario County and conducted a traffic stop.
The driver was identified as Marrion M. Simms, 28, a Michigan resident with multiple fully extraditable warrants from Ohio, Missouri, and Pennsylvania. The passenger was identified as Deshon L. Davis, 24, of Rochester, NY.
Upon investigation, Troopers determined that Simms and Davis were the suspects involved in the Speedway larceny. Both were taken into custody and transported to the New York State Police barracks in Waterloo for processing.

Both suspects were remanded to the Seneca County Jail and are scheduled for centralized arraignment on February 17, 2025, at 7:00 a.m.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
