State Police investigate a fatal hit-and-run accident

State Police in Williamson continue to investigate a fatal vehicle vs pedestrian accident in Sodus, NY. Troopers were called to Lake Road near Maple Avenue in the town of Sodus, shortly after 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2023, for the report of a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle. Responding troopers located a deceased male in the roadway who was later identified as Joshua W. Clark, age 46, of Ontario, NY. At this time, the vehicle involved is still outstanding.

State Police are asking anyone with information, or area residents with surveillance cameras, to contact them at 585-398-4100.
