More than forty years ago on October 20, 1984, the body of 21-year-old Robert Darling Jr. was located in a wooded area near Benson Road in Benson, NY. Darling Jr. had been reported missing from Gloversville, NY, by his family and was last seen on August 3, 1984. Darling Jr.’s death has been ruled a homicide. The State Police Troop G Major Crimes Unit and SP Fonda continue investigating this cold case and ask for the public’s assistance.
