Motorcycle Accident, Lost Control Around a Corner, Striking a Ditch

According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, on August 12, 2023, at around 11:38 pm, Deputies responded to the area of Route 26 in the Town of Augusta for the report of a single motorcycle accident.

Upon arrival, deputies determined David N. Rodriguez (40), of Bridgewater, was driving a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle, Northbound on Route 26 when he lost control around a corner, causing him to exit the roadway and strike a ditch. Rodriguez was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital to be evaluated for non-life-threatening injuries.

No tickets issued at this time, pending investigation.
