3 NY Women Arrested with Meth on I-87 in Orangetown Traffic Stop

Orangetown, NY — April 5, 2025 — A routine traffic stop on Interstate 87 led to the arrest of three women from New York on felony drug charges after Troopers discovered methamphetamine in their vehicle.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., New York State Troopers from SP Tarrytown pulled over a 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage traveling southbound on I-87 in the Town of Orangetown for a violation of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
The driver, later identified as Gloriana F. Solomon, 21, of Jamaica, NY, initially provided a false name during the roadside interview. The two passengers were identified as Gabrielle A. Wilson, 20, and Halie Medina, 21, both of the Bronx, NY.
During the investigation, Troopers searched the vehicle and recovered approximately 36 grams of methamphetamine.
All three women were arrested and transported to SP Tarrytown for processing. Solomon, Wilson, and Medina were each charged with:
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd (Hallucinogen substance) – Felony
Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Intent to Sell) – Felony
Solomon also faces a misdemeanor charge of Criminal Impersonation and was issued multiple traffic tickets.
The three were arraigned in the Town of Orangetown Court and released on their own recognizance. They are scheduled to return to court on April 15, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
The investigation remains ongoing.
